Lisa is a long-standing member of Access Arts Brisbane Outsider Artists visual art workshop program. She loves to create artworks which are bright and colourful and make people smile. She usually finds it especially therapeutic working on uplifting images when she is experiencing long periods of chronic depression.
Lisa has recently found the creative process challenging due to illness, so she is displaying one of her earlier artworks in the 2023 KPMG exhibition.
Besides painting, she also likes to engage in random, crafty projects and creating zines about her mischievous cat Toby’s alter-ego, Catzilla.
