Michael’s artwork reflects a keen interest in people, architecture, landscape and daily life. Colour is an essential element in his work; he favours bold and playful tones.
For Michael, art is an integral part of his life, spending two to three hours drawing each day. It is also a form of communication and social engagement for him, while providing a vehicle to process a range of experiences. In recent years Michael’s preferred medium has become water-based oils on canvas.
