Brisbane Outsider Artists’ Studio (BOA) has a rare opening for an artist interested in extending their arts practice.
BOA is for artists living with disability or disadvantage who want to develop their visual arts skills to a professional standard. At the BOA studio, artists are provided with a self-directed learning environment in which they are supported and empowered to reach their individual artistic goals on their own terms.
As a BOA participant you will:
- Receive professional development support from experienced arts professionals
- Have access to a fully resourced art studio two days a week
- Learn new skills and meet and connect with other local artists
- Have opportunities to reach and expand your audience through quality exhibitions and events
- Have access to information on mentorship and grant possibilities
- Receive assistance to jumpstart your art career
The BOA studio is located at Eight Mile Plains and is open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:00am – 3:00pm.
If you are interested in learning more about this opening and you have an NDIS plan, please make an appointment with Access Arts to present and discuss your arts practice.
