Living with a mental illness requires courage, especially in the face of other people. A lot of times, I put on that courageous front by putting on a lion mask. Behind this courageous lion mask, there is a fear of being judged by others. The mane represents the colourful experiences when I confront others about my disability. The positive experiences allow me to build the confidence and courage to live my daily life.
