Mark Pearson is an emerging artist who produces handcrafted linocut prints and fine pen and ink drawings.
During his career Mark has worked as a draftsman and a graphic artist. He only began work as a visual artist recently as part of his long recovery from illness. His art practice provides him with a great sense of satisfaction and accomplishment and most importantly, helps him to manage his mental health in a positive way.
Mark creates work that is quirky and fun with a touch of nostalgia. His artworks often carry an underlyng narrative and are created to bring joy to others.
Mark recently joined the Access Arts Brisbane Outsider Artists’ Studio. Mark exhibited in Dancing Colours (2022) at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital.
