With extensive experience as an arts and cultural manager, Pat is passionate about enabling people with disability or disadvantage to play a full part in the arts. Pat worked in this field in the UK and then in arts funding and development at Arts Council England for 14 years in policy, planning and business development before managing grants of up to £5 million for capital arts development. Later appointed Strategic Director of Milton Keynes Theatre and Gallery Company she raised significant sums of new money for the arts for the city.
Since migrating to Brisbane in 2009 Pat has worked in arts and voluntary welfare organisations as well as state and local government. With a Master of Business Administration (Open University, UK) she serves on Griffith Business School’s Alumni Advisory Group, and is a member of State Library of Queensland’s Disability Action Plan Task Group.
