To celebrate the first day of Performing Arts Term 1 Workshops, Access Arts are excited to announce the Welcome Back Yard Party! Held on Tuesday they 23rd of January 11:00 – 12:00 at Stores Building, Brisbane Powerhouse, 119 Lamington Street, New Farm 4005. Enjoy morning tea with backyard cricket, drumming circle, ball games and more!

Theatre & Dance Ensemble
Theatre & Dance Ensemble is a skills based workshop integrating a variety of contemporary performance outcomes including creative movement, stage craft, improvisation and performance opportunities.
 
The workshop will meet once a week at Brisbane Powerhouse, and will be under the guidance of Genevieve Butler.
 
Day/Time: Tuesdays, 9:00am – 12:00pm
Dates: Term 1: Tuesday 23 January – Tuesday 27 March (10 weeks)
Venue: Stores Building, Brisbane Powerhouse, 119 Lamington Street, New Farm 4005
Cost: $80 per term, to be paid to Access Arts two weeks before term begins
 
Rhythm Circle
Tap into your natural rhythm and journey into an experience of diverse cultural sounds and tempos through exploration of percussion and voice.
 
The workshop will meet once a week at Brisbane Powerhouse, and will be under the guidance of Velvet Pesu, supported by Tichawona Mashawa
 
Day/Time: Tuesdays, 11:00am – 1:30pm

Access Arts Singers
The renowned Access Arts Singers are always seeking new and enthusiastic members who want to explore vocal techniques. Presenting their work at events with Queensland Music Festival, QPAC and State Library of Queensland, this is a great opportunity to perform in a supportive and fun ensemble!
 
Facilitated by renowned musician Sophie Banister, supported by Brooke Austen.
 
Day/Time: Tuesdays, 1:30pm – 4:00pm
Dates: Term 1: Tuesday 23 January – Tuesday 27 March (10 weeks)
